Let The Revolution Begin! US House Cuts $ 40 Billion From Food stamp Programs.

This means opening the doors to the FEMA camps, people starving in the streets and widespread economic unrest! Funny how they can find plenty of money for more weapons and war!

WASHINGTON — House Republicans narrowly pushed through a bill on Thursday that slashes billions of dollars from the food stamp program, over the objections of Democrats and a veto threat from President Obama. The vote set up what promised to be a contentious fight with the Senate and dashed hopes for passage this year of a new five-year farm bill.

The vote was 217 to 210.

Republican leaders said the bill would make needed changes to a program that has grown out of control.

Democrats, though, called the cuts to the food stamp program draconian and said millions of hungry people would lose their benefits.

“It’s a sad day in the people’s House when the leadership brings to the floor one of the most heartless bills I have ever seen,” said Representative James McGovern, Democrat of Massachusetts. “Its terrible policy trapped in a terrible process.”

  1. Well thankfully the revolution wont last long and hopefully wont spill across the border. The so called revolution will be cut short as the Department of Homeland Security purchased 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition ( including explosive hollow point rounds deemed illegal by the U.N.) and hundreds of anti artillery vehicles that are never meant to be used outside of the U.S. So if your government could just do Canada a favour and build a big wall across the border to trap you in your country then we would really appreciate it. Thanks a bunch. Have a happy new year in January 2014 when Civil Unrest begins.

      • Apologies friend. my bad, that was supposed to be in response to the blog on the US scrapping 40billion out of the food stamp program for the poor where in 3.8 million americans wont have food as of january unless they get jobs that dont exist.

  2. blame the poor, they usually can’t defend themselves, and are cheap to get rid of, rarely vote and have nothing firm to fight with, beautiful world
