“For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens: as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone. It’s often meant we have stood neutral between different values. And that’s helped foster a narrative of extremism and grievance. This Government will conclusively turn the page on this failed approach,” Cameron.
That’s right, just because you keep to the law doesn’t mean you will be left to live your life in peace.
Your opinions can get you in deep trouble if Cameron gets his way. In his UN speech last year he already announced that people who question 9/11 and the wars resulting from that event were non-violent extremists and enablers to the violent ones!
The same thing is happening in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the US. What that means is that people
who expose corruption or who question their countries policies in the middle East, criticize Israel, question the events of 9/11 or their Prime Minister’s behaviour towards ponytails don’t like gays, bully people into committing suicide, make snarky remarks about politicians will have a visit from the secret police and that will be just the beginning.
