On Being In Ukraine And Wanting Money. Hack Alert!!!

Update: For some of you who have noticed my more than usual absence, an aweful lot of stuff is going on in my “real” world and it takes a lot of time and effort to stay on top of it all. I hope that in due time things will settle down around my husband and I but at this moment in time I have no way of seeing what the future might bring. Some of it is exiting but some of it is also downright terrifying.

It has been a busy day yesterday. I have had to reset passwords, stop email forwarding and trying to convince people I was not in Ukraine and most definitely did not need their money but even this morning I woke up to people asking me were to send it!

I am humbled by the concern and the helpfulness of so many but I can assure you I am not in Ukraine and do not need anybody’s money. The email that got send via my email account was not written by me and was send out at 6:20 in the morning when  I opened my email and I caught onto it just seconds later when my email account announced it was forwarding emails to another address (Which I was unable to locate). Having been the victim of a hacker before  and recognizing what had happened, I was able to reset my password almost straight away and also stop any forwarding so I am pretty optimistic that nobody got send through to the offending party.

I apologise for the distress this may have caused!

Change your passwords regularly and make sure you don’t open any email attachments (Which I hadn’t by the way)!
