Nicky Hager’s legal fund is now over 48.000! Wow, I have to say it gives me hope for this country that so many Kiwis recognise that having independent journalists keeping politicians honest is essential for a real democracy.
I have to confess to having donated twice. Once because I wanted to help Nicky and the second time after it appeared there had been complaints about the fact that the give-a-little site had “allowed” a fund raiser for him just to piss the asholes who complained off
The fund now stands at over $ 48.000, please donate some more and make it a cool $ 50.000. Just to piss them off!
