Space, Perspective And An Exercise In Futility. Have a great Morning!

Good morning! I don’t know about you but sometimes I just need some perspective. Here is something I started yesterday evening and ended this morning. I traveled almost 6 billion miles and saw our solar system in all it’s glory and wondered why can’t we all just get along? It is all so insignificant really, when you think about it!

  1. Pingback: If the Moon was 1 pixel, a tediously accurate map of the Solar System that will have you scrolling for hours | earth is my favourite planet

  2. Awesome viewing! I’m reminded of the ‘total perspective vortex’ in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series, and the (paraphrased) conclusion that ‘the one thing we can’t afford to have is a sense of perspective’.. It’s just too much for our tiny little brains to take.

I’m also reminded of the bit from HHGTTG about ‘Art in the Universe: None. The purpose of art being to hold a mirror up to creation, and there not being a mirror large enough….’
