Dr Martin Luther King jr.: the trial, the myth and why we should revisit his murder.

Update: Here is the integral text of the MLK trial!

In 1999 Dr William Pepper won a civil trial and the verdict was; Dr Martin Luther King jr was murdered as a result of a conspiracy involving the government. In honour of Martin Luther King here is a link to a radio interview with Dr William Pepper.

In the aftermath of the murder Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated again. His real persona, one of increasing radicalisation towards militancy and  active resistance against the war in Vietnam and poverty and the huge following he had among the black, the disenfranchised and the anti war movement, was transformed into a peaceful uncle Tom and incorporated into the pantheon of saintly Americans (Who strayed once in a while in extra-marital affairs) and the day of his murder is a day of remembrance which has nothing to do with the real Dr. Martin Luther King.

Why you ask should be we be paying attention to the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King? The same people who perpetrated this murder are still at it and we need to see the reality of the historical event of the government sanctioned and organised murder of Martin Luther King in order to see the reality of our current predicament.
