Low level terrorists, the 2012 defence bill and the activation of FEMA camps and Crowd control weapons… we’re watching the terrifying end of America; the home of the free and the brave

“History tells us that one of the most unstable political combinations is a country – like the United States today – that tries to be a domestic democracy and a foreign imperialist.” Chalmer Johnson

While the US army is terrorizing Nations around the world under the guise of humanitarian intervention and gearing up for an all out war with Iran and Pakistan dragging Russia and China into WWIII something even more terrifying is happening in the US itself.

We have, in itself a horrifying development, become accustomed to the fact that the US can act with impunity when it concerns using it military might against Nations which nave not attacked or shown the willingness to attack the US. 9/11 made all that possible after all.

America needed to defend itself against “Terror” and since all of us lost countrymen in the attacks we were happy to allow the US to take on the role of judge, jury and executioner of all of those it deemed to be a danger to us, the free Western and civilized world. Hell we even supported them with troops and money and we felt good about it because how dare these rag heads with their funny clothes and scary religion even contemplate resistance to us extracting their valuable oil. (In fact I actually had a conversation with a pump attendant  who thought it was completely justified to attack Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya because they could stop us from getting access to “our” oil.)

But that was 10 years ago and something is not quite right in the home of the free and the brave. It started of course with the Patriot act voted in within weeks after the attacks and it has gone down hill from there and here is where we are today:

On June 2009 the Pentagon declared demonstrators such as those now demonstrating in campsites all over the world against Wall streets excesses to be low level terrorists.

On the 30th of November 2011 the US Senate voted 93 to 7 for a new defense act which will allow the military to arrest US citizens anywhere in the world including the US and keep them imprisoned for ever without a trial and a jury of their peers. All they have to do is declare them enemy combatants.

I reported on 28-1 2009 That KBR had been given the job of building 400 FEMA emergency camps. Yesterday it emerged that KB is seeking to outsource the manning of these camps in order to activate them .

All of these developments are terrifying and it seems the powers that be have decided to go all out in in trying to head off the anger which manifested itself in the OWS movement when it first emerged on September 17, 2011

More proof of this is the unprecedented militarization of the US police and the rapid spread of  “non Lethal” crowd control weaponry being provided to the US police courtesy of the military and the Pentagon

  1. sadly aye – here is the update of this poem from Annie Machon

    Pastor Martin Niemoeller Updated

First they came for the Irish in the 1980s,

But I was not Irish so I did not speak up.

Then they came for the Muslims after 9/11,

But I was not a Muslim, so I did not speak up.

Then they came for the “domestic extremists”,

But I was not an activist, so I did not speak up.

    Then they came for me;

and there was nobody left to speak up for me.

    • First they came for Tane and the Uruwera’s but I’ not Maori and hate Tane so I said nothing…

  2. “First they came for the communists, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me” – Martin Niemöller.
