Greece Politely Declines German Annexation Demands

That didn’t take long did it? What’s next? Without the annexation there is not going to be a bail out so prepare for the collapse of the Global financial system when Greece defaults and Portugal, Italy and Spain follow.

Following yesterday’s frankly stunning news that the Troika politely requests that Greece hand over its first fiscal, then pretty much all other, sovereignty to “Europe”, here is the Greek just as polite response to the Troika’s foray into outright colonialism:

What is interesting here is that unlike the highly irrelevant IIF negotiations which will end in a Greek default one way or another, the real plotline that should be followed is this one: because unless Germany, pardon the Troika, gets the one condition it demands, namely “absolute priority to debt service” and “transfer of national budgetary sovereignty“, as well as a “constitutional amendment” thereto. there is no Troika funding deal. Furthermore, since as a reminder the PSI talks are just the beginning, the next step is ensuring compliance, as was noted yesterday (“[ceding sovereignty] will reassure public and private creditors that the Hellenic Republic will honour its comittments after PSI and will positively influence market access”), any refusal to implement such demands is an automatic dealbreaker.

Fast-tracked oil consents bypass mayor, public

Gisborne Council officials have already granted exploration consents to Canadian oil companies without seeking public approval – or consulting their own mayor.

The Sunday Star-Times revealed two weeks ago that a joint-venture between TAG Oil and Apache believed there was potential to build “thousands” of onshore wells on the East Coast of the North Island and pump “billions of barrels” of oil.

Documents written by TAG said the area was “literally leaking oil and gas”, and the joint venture was prepared to undertake an “aggressive East Coast Basin programme”.

A Gisborne District Council document, obtained by the Sunday Star-Times, reveals officials have allowed some of the exploration developments without giving the public opportunity to raise any objections.

“Resource consents have recently been issued for activities associated with drilling shallow shot holes and seismic testing,” the paper said. “The environmental impact of this is minimal, and the applications were not notified.”

Iran to restart IAEA nuclear talks

Iran is due to open talks with UN nuclear inspectors on Sunday in an attempt to allay their suspicions of a covert Iranian weapons programme, the first such discussions in more than three years.

The three days of meetings in Tehran between Iranian nuclear officials and a team from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) represent the only diplomatic progress in more than a year, as tensions mount over Iran’s nuclear programme and western attempts to cut off the country’s oil trade.

Diplomats familiar with the visit said that the IAEA team would seek assurances that they will be able to interview key Iranian scientists suspected of past involvement in weapons research, visit sensitive sites and see documents concerning the procurement of dual-use technology. The Iranian government denies it is seeking to make nuclear weapons, insisting its research is for scientific or civil power-generating purposes.

Before he left office, he demanded investigation into JP Morgan & Co for purchasing control over America’s leading 25 newspapers in order to propagandize US public opinion in favor of his corporate and banking interests, including profits from US participation in the war. Mr. Callaway alleged he had the evidence to prove Morgan associates were working as editors to select and edit articles, with the press receiving monthly payments for their allegiance to Morgan.

Throughout its history, America glorified wars in the name of peace. From inception, they’re perpetuated against one or more domestic or foreign adversaries.

They include mass killing, assaults and abuse. Pacifism’s called sissy or unpatriotic. Propaganda insists America’s peace-loving. In fact, more than ever today, it’s addicted to permanent war and violence.

Nonetheless, initiating them requires public support. Famed US journalist Walter Lippmann coined the phrase “manufacture of consent.” It’s a euphemism for mind control.

In 1917, George Creel first used it successfully to turn pacifist Americans into raging German-haters. It works the same way now. In 1916, Woodrow Wilson was reelected on a pledge of: “He Kept Us Out of War.” Straightaway, he began planning US involvement.

In April 1917, he established the Committee on Public Information (CPI or Creel Committee). It operated through August 1919. Its mission was enlisting public support for war and undermining opposition sentiment.

Barry McDaniel came to the WTC security company Stratesec, in 1998, to become its Chief Operating Officer. In the years before 9/11, Stratesec had contracts to provide security services not only for the WTC, but also for United Airlines, which owned two of the planes hijacked on 9/11, and Dulles Airport, where American Airlines Flight 77 took off that day.

Willy Rodriques on Rosie’s radio show: the last man out is still standing and talking about 911

William Rodriques is a hero. He was the last man out alive when the North tower he worked in collapsed in free fall speed on 911. He only survived because he was able to dive under a fire engine and had to be dug out after the tower had collapsed.

He was the last man out because he had a master key of the tower and helped to save hundreds of people when he selflessly returned to the building time time and again to try and save as many people as he could.

As was to be expected he was given a heroes welcome at the White House and his heroism was celebrated until it became clear that his recount of the horrible events of that day did not coincide with the official conspiracy theory. The one which claims that 19 young Arabs managed to confuse the entire military system of the US on the orders of a maniacal Extremist who lived in a cave in Afghanistan and who flew two planes into the twin towers and one into the Pentagon and the heroes aboard a fourth plane managed to down that plane before it could hit the White House.

Willy told about explosions in the basement and before the plane hit the building. He told about the destruction of the lobby and the sprinkler system which had been activated by these explosions before the plane hit the building and how people were drowning in elevator shafts not because of Kerosine pouring into them but because of the water from the sprinkler system.

He was one of the people who forced the 911 commission into existence against the will of the US Government and testified behind closed doors to the commission only to find his entire testimony erased from the report and his name not mentioned once.

I just found this file back. It is the interview Willy gave to Rosie O’Donnell who lost her job on the panel of the TV program the View because she dared to book Willy to appear on the View to tell his story. It is a powerful testimony of what really happened on 911 and it is a powerful testimony as to why we need a new and independent investigation into the events of that day.

If the sorry parade of European poodles – or what analyst Chris Floyd delightfully dubbed Europuppies – had any understanding of Persian culture, they would have known that blowback for their declaration of economic war in the form of an Iranian oil embargo would be nothing short of heavy metal.

Better yet; death metal. The Majlis (Iranian parliament) will discuss this Sunday, in an open section, whether to cancel right away all oil exports to any European country that approved the embargo – according to Emad Hosseini, the rapporteur of the Majlis Energy Committee. And that comes with the requisite apocalyptic warning, relayed via the Fars news agency, courtesy of member of Parliament Nasser Soudani: “Europe will burn in the fire of Iran’s oil wells.”

Here is a dummies guide to what went wrong in Europe:

Helga is the proprietor of a bar.

She realizes that virtually all of her customers are unemployed alcoholics
and, as such, can no longer afford to patronize her bar.

To solve this problem, she comes up with a new marketing plan that allows
her customers to drink now, but pay later.

Helga keeps track of the drinks consumed on a ledger (thereby granting the
customers’ loans).

Word gets around about Helga’s “drink now, pay later” marketing strategy
and, as a result, increasing numbers of customers flood into Helga’s bar.

Soon she has the largest sales volume for any bar in town.

By providing her customers freedom from immediate payment demands, Helga
gets no resistance when, at regular intervals, she substantially increases
her prices for wine and beer, the most consumed beverages. Consequently, Helga’s gross sales volume increases massively.
