R.I.P. Hugo Chavez (28 July 1954 – 5 March 2013)

I’m sure the MSM will have a field day demonizing Hugo Chavez over the next couple of months as the man himself is no longer there to defend himself but for today the world  remembers all of Hugo Chavez it seems.

I think that the oppressed, the poor and many Latin Americans will remember Hugo Chavez as a warrior who stood up for them while Venezuela’s elite will try to claw back the position of opulence they lost in the Chavez years. I think that Iran and Syria will remember a staunch ally and I’m sure that as time goes by we will hear more about the accusations of poison and assassination.

What ever will happen will happen but for now I say goodbye to a man who stood up to the empire, who spoke up for the truth of 9/11 and who gave a voice to the poor of his country and in a way to the likes of me and you.

Remember that when the MSM starts to propagandize en rewrite.

Hugo, vaya con Dios, Compadre, vaya con Dios.

  1. A bloody legend, a man who stood up for the genuine poor against the machine. We need more like him, this is a great but inevitable loss. This man did more good in the last 10 years than even Bush/Obama can undo in double that time. RIP Hugo Chavez
