United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has arrived at the New Zealand High Commission for a one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister John Key.
Ahead of the meeting with Key Clinton told leaders in a meeting following the Pacific Islands Forum, that America was proud of its historical ties to the region.
She spoke of the United States’ renewed focus in the Pacific and said they were happy to work with other donor nations, including China.
“I think, after all, the Pacific is big enough for all of us.”
Clinton leads the most high-powered US delegation to even attend the forum.
