SFO drops Hubbard charges

Well that didn’t take long did it?

Criminal charges against Allan Hubbard have been dropped, but legal appeals over his financial state are still outstanding.

Hubbard, 83, the former chairman of South Canterbury Finance (SCF), died after a head-on collision 5km north of Oamaru on Friday. His wife, Jean, remains in Dunedin Hospital with multiple fractures.

Allan Hubbard was airlifted to Dunedin Hospital and is understood to have died en route.

Jean Hubbard, 82, was driving the southbound car when it collided head-on with a four-wheel-drive utility towing a trailer on Friday afternoon. The driver of the utility vehicle, Nelson man Andrew Earl, 40, was discharged from Oamaru Hospital with cuts and abrasions.

Allan Hubbard was due in court this week over a judicial review of the couple being placed under statutory management.

Who Runs the World ? – Network Analysis Reveals ‘Super Entity’ of Global Corporate Control

In the first such analysis ever conducted, Swiss economic researchers have conducted a global network analysis of the most powerful transnational corporations (TNCs). Their results have revealed a core of 787 firms with control of 80% of this network, and a “super entity” comprised of 147 corporations that have a controlling interest in 40% of the network’s TNCs.

When we hear conspiracy theorist talk about this or that powerful group (or alliance of said groups) “pulling strings” behind the scenes, we tend to dismiss or minimize such claims, even though, deep down, we may suspect that there’s some degree of truth to it, however distorted by the theorists’ slightly paranoid perception of the world. But perhaps our tendency to dismiss such claims as exaggerations (at best) comes from our inability to get even a slight grip on the complexity of global corporate ownership; it’s all too vast and complicated to get any clear sense of the reality.

I don’t believe the official story of 9/11 because I know the official story of 9/11!

During the past 10 years I have not met a single individual who, after doing research on the subjectpen, switched from questioning the official narrative of the events of 9/11/2001 to believing the official narrative of those events..  It is always the other way around. Why do you think that is? There are good reasons for this, and I will try to explain this phenomenon right now.

The term “conspiracy theorist“, perhaps the most misapplied description in our vernacular, is often used to describe 9/11 truthers. Perhaps that term does apply to a segment of the 9/11 truth movement. But in most cases a more accurate description of 9/11 truthers is probably “expert”, or “scholar”, or “researcher.” You see, much of the doubt cast on the official narrative of the events of 9/11 has not come in the form of speculated accusations, or “theories.” In fact, it has come in the form of questions that have been raised after a careful study of the official and undisputed events and details.

Ten years have passed since the infamous events of September 11th, 2001 took place, and the majority of people still don’t know a damn thing about the actual details of that event. They don’t know what was going on in the country with regard to our military that day. They don’t know the history or the activities of key members of our government, defense establishment or intelligence community, on, or during the weeks, and in some cases the years leading up to that day. They don’t know what took place during or immediately following the events of that day. And they don’t know what actions were taken by those key people following that event.

“This would not have happened if Mr. Key had been in the country” Allan Hubbard dies in Car crash.

This morning the big news was that Allan Hubbard the philanthropist Finance guru accused of Fraud and scheduled to appear before a judge on October 10th had been killed in a car accident. The circumstances as to how and why this accident happened on a clear straight road.

While this in all probability is just a stupid accident I just could not help but remembering some odd statements made by both Allan Hubbard and John Key in the aftermath of the intervention of the Major Fraud squad.

One was from Allan Hubbard: “I think if Mr Key, who knows me, was in New Zealand, he wouldn’t have done that,”

This was said in an interview with Radio New Zealand. Key had been in South Africa attending the recent All Whites 1-1 draw with Italy. As usual he was conveniently out of the country during a major event.

And this is what happened during a meeting with Hubbard supporters:

Prime Minister John Key was called a liar when he fronted a meeting in Timaru last night packed with vocal Allan Hubbard supporters.

The Government placed Mr Hubbard, his wife, Jean, and related companies into statutory management last year.

Mr Hubbard headed the Timaru-based South Canterbury Finance which the Government spent $1.7 billion bailing-out when it failed.

“When I see an old man get rolled and robbed and accused of fraud when in fact he’s one of the most honourable men in the country I am concerned,” Radio New Zealand reported one man saying at the 500-strong meeting.

Mr Key said South Canterbury Finance had been going to collapse for a long time.

“The entire time I’ve been Prime Minister I’ve had Treasury in my office week after week, month after month telling me South Canterbury Finance was going bankrupt.”

He said when the Serious Fraud Office got involved he had to be dispassionate.

Dispassionate? Or he couldn’t keep Hubbard safe and had to get as far away from him as possible not to get tainted with the Hubbard mess!

Remember: You the NZ taxpayer is on the hook for 1.7 billion which was used to bail out Hubbard’s finance company.

I would very much like to hear what he was going to say on October 10th but I guess that will never happen now!

Oh shit, John Key is not going to like this: U.S. Is Set to Sue a Dozen Big Banks Over Mortgages

The federal agency that oversees the mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is set to file suits against more than a dozen big banks, accusing them of misrepresenting the quality of mortgage securities they assembled and sold at the height of the housing bubble, and seeking billions of dollars in compensation.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency suits, which are expected to be filed in the coming days in federal court, are aimed at Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank, among others, according to three individuals briefed on the matter.

The suits stem from subpoenas the finance agency issued to banks a year ago. If the case is not filed Friday, they said, it will come Tuesday, shortly before a deadline expires for the housing agency to file claims.

We’re At the End Game For Fed Intervention

The Fed cannot and will not announce QE 3 barring a market bloodbath or major failing. It certainly won’t announce QE 3 when commodities prices never really cooled down from their QE 2 highs.

Commodities as a whole are only 8% off their QE 2 highs. Some commodities are actually higher than during QE 2. If the Fed were to announce QE 3 in this environment is would KILL the US Dollar and the US consumer. End of story.

Fukushima Is Continually Blasting All Of Us With High Levels Of Cesium, Strontium And Plutonium And Will Slowly Kill Millions For Years To Come

Fukushima is now far and away the worst nuclear disaster in all of human history.  Chernobyl was a Sunday picnic compared to Fukushima and the amount of cesium-137 released at Fukushima this year so far is equivalent to 168 Hiroshima bombs.  The crisis at Fukushima is far, far worse than you have been told.  We are talking about multiple self-sustaining nuclear meltdowns that will not be fully contained for years.  In an attempt to keep people calm, authorities in Japan (and around the rest of the world as well) have lied and lied and lied.  Over the months that have passed since the disaster began, small bits of the truth have slowly started to come out.  Authorities are finally admitting that the area immediately surrounding Fukushima will be uninhabitable indefinitely, and they are finally admitting that the amount of radioactive material that has been released is far higher than initially reported.  It is going to take the Japanese years to fully contain this problem.  Meanwhile, Fukushima will continue to blast all of us with high levels of cesium, strontium and plutonium and will slowly kill millions of people around the globe for years to come.
