Speaking in Auckland

This Sunday I will be speaking at a rally organised by Penny Bright in Auckland. the Rally is from 3-5 and my speaking time will depend on how fast I can make it from Hamilton were I’m giving a course about food and fermentation for the Perma culture trust, to Auckland. I expect to be in Auckland for the entire meeting but having said that I might be a little late but I will most definitely be there as I don’t want to miss the opportunity to meet Penny and all the other awesome activists she hopes to introduce me too.

The subject I will be speaking about is one close to my heart:

Recently John Key stated that while he was working for Merrill Lynch the bank was a shiny example of integrity and after he left the morale became as corrupted as hell itself and oh yeah the sub prime instruments did not get developed until 2005.

I will endeavour to relieve y’all from that notion. Both the Bankers trust and Merrill lynch were in the forefront of the most corrupt of all trades; Financial Derivatives.
And when the Bankers trust collapsed as the result from a court case from Proctor & Gamble against this bank and the release of a series of recorded conversations between bank employees  clearly showing how corrupt the entire banks structure was. John Key was poached by Merrill Lynch to continue the BT corrupt practices.

For those of you wanting to stay posted on the actual amount of aftershocks and quake activity in NZ here is a link to Geonet which is the website for the geological hazard monitoring system in New Zealand. I became a subscriber when I first arrived in NZ being a tad worried about the geological activity of my new country. This last hour alone it recorded three aftershocks in Chch alone.

Earthquake in Christchurch!!!!

An earthquake of 6.3 magnitude has struck Christchurch. Most of you know that this is the third time within a year. My deepest sympathy goes out to the people of Christchurch at this moment and I am greatly relieved that my sister in Law with her family are save.

As my sister in law is an experienced ER nurse and currently works for a centre specialised in fractures I expect she will be working through the night and my thoughts are with her.

John Key, the king of Bahrein and “the” royal wedding

When John “food banks are a lifestyle choice” Key was asked if he thought that Mubarak should go he responded with a very clear and unambiguous,”No”.

Never mind that the last Pharaoh had been on the throne of Egypt for more than 30 years and the people of Egypt had shown with abundance that they wanted to see him gone. The reason? A Democratic Egypt could be dangerous to Israel.

Mubarak disappeared and we will no doubt hear about his sudden demise same as the dictator of Tunisia lays in a coma and is most  likely not to wake up again. Such is the fate of Dictators no longer useful to the Wall street/City of London empire.

Even as the revolution spreads amongst our Muslim brothers and sisters and their elites try to crush them with violence, mercenaries and brutal, brutal suppression today we find out were the loyalty of our Prime minister lies and surprise surprise it is not with us the “common” people no matter were we live.

His loyalty lies with the global ruling elite as he tells us that he will attend the wedding

of one of the prime candidates for the guillotine once the people wake up from their slumber: his royal highness Prince William who other than having been born in the lap of luxury and to a dubious ancestry of a parasitic family scamming the people of the Common wealth out of their hard earned living with subsidies and exemptions of tax while those of us working our fingers to the bone have to pay and pay and pay has no qualities which justify the exorbitant cost of his coming nuptials.

Who will he share this “honour” with? The king of Bahrain who just ordered his army to shoot protesting subjects, the king of Tonga who after hundreds of years of feudal rule finally has to give in to the populations demand for democracy and the king of Saudi Arabia who suppresses his population viciously while living a life of decadent debauchery to name but a few.

Yep, John has been a good boy and while that black bugger Obama can shove it as this is a royal white event our PM will be one of the royals foot soldiers permitted to attend the wedding of the future king of England and the ruler of the common wealth group of colonies of which New Zealand is but one.

Mubarak is gone, let’s celebrate at least today for tomorrow the reality sets in.

This morning I woke up to the wonderful news that Mubarak has resigned his position as the president of Egypt. Having seen his speech on al Jazeera yesterday I had lost hope that this was ever going to happen.

So rejoice for the people of Egypt. I really do. They spoke and after 18 long days their voice was finally heard and that was that. It was as it should be. Leaders should be afraid of their population and not the other way around. They have given all of us hope that if and when we have had enough we too can speak up and liberate ourselves from our oppressors. So Shukran bezaf.

I am however watchful and will be writing about the situation in Egypt over the next few days as peace settles I hope at least for a while over the land of the Pharaos as the last of these kings has to hide in exile to escape the peoples wrath for tomorrow the new reality will emerge and I fear it will not be pretty.

War crimes and the Bush family; Let them feel the consequences.

Last year G.W. Bush bragged about ordering the act of torture known as waterboarding and this weekend he had to cancel his trip to Switzerland where he was going to be a guest speaker for a annual Jewish conference.

He had to cancel his trip because several activist groups were planning to take him to court for his admission to ordering waterboarding and it is sign of the times perhaps that rather than finding out how much diplomatic protection he still had he cancelled his trip to stay in the safety of his own country where he can still move freely. This is quite a  development because a year ago he still felt confident enough to travel to Canada.

Another sign of the times is perhaps the fact that “Republican” representative and former presidential candidate  Ron Paul took the extraordinary step of reading a statement providing evidence of the fact that Dubbya’s daddy had lied to the general public about the reasons for the first war in Iraq thereby entering this evidence into the congressional record where it will for ever be part of the public record and therefore accessible to the general public and maybe one day this might serve as a reason to indite the family who have generation after generation conspired ot commit war crimes in the name of all Americans.

You can probably only see this link if you have a facebook page. They are an awesome collection of women during the marches for freedom. Just in case your wondering if this is an extremist Muslim revolution or just the people of Egypt being fed up with the regime. Check them out.

I knew something was wrong when I woke up to the sound of car horns. It’s been so quiet and peaceful the last few days we’ve even started seeing the bats once again flitting in and out of the fruit trees at dusk. This wasn’t the normal noise of Cairo traffic; this was aggressive, patterned and constant, like what you get after a football match only lots more so.

Out of my window I saw the crowd marching across 15 May flyover. It’s odd: the pro-Mubarak lot are so much more regimented – and so much less civil: the noise pollution, the rude gestures at the street, the sticks, the attitude – and at the same time the perfectly scripted banners, the “stewards” marshalling and directing them.

The best weather money can buy. Part 1

Huge storms, floods, droughts, earthquakes you name it we’ve seen it and most of us tend to believe it’s either natural or man made as a result of our use of carbon fuels.

I’m not writing this to dispute either because I simply don’t know. Earthquakes are a result of the tectonic plates moving right? What else could be causing them what else could harness enough strength to cause the earth itself to shake?

Storms happen, they are the result of heating and cooling and the earth moving at an incredible speed through the universe. Right?

Rain or shine. As old as the planet and change is too as old as the universe. Whole civilisation have come and gone as the result of changing weather patters so if we have a drought one year and too much rain the next we should not be surprised. Shit happens. Right?

Well, actually you might want to reconsider. According to the Chinese Xinhua news agency, Zheng Guoguang, the director of the China Meteorological Administration China’s weather modification program will be used to aid the countries need for water and help prevent natural calamities from occurring.

Just think. You need rain? all you have to do is call the WMC (weather modification centre) and bingo your land gets its much needed bath. It will cost you a penny but who wouldn’t want weather on demand?

November elections. 10 months to educate the people about Jo Key’s bankster history.

John Key announced today that the next elections will be held in November. That gives us 10 months to educate everybody about the Federal Reserve, the fraudulent financial system and John Key’s connection to the most corrupt people in the word.

John Key, Liz Hurley and the Royal wedding

Once again John Key has made an utter fool of himself by going life with another bright example of New Zealand’s manhood Tony Veitch, the Sports presenter who famously thought that kicking his girlfriend of the stairs and kicking her in the back as she lay  on the floor paralysing her temporarily was a good idea until he got found out after which he paralysed the country on occasion with yet another failed suicide attempt, gawking over the tits of Liz Hurly and other assorted media babes.

This time it made the UK Daily mail and while the article predictably described the women who objected to what was basically your average drunken barbecue  conversation, barbecues which I might add try to avoid due to the high misogynist content of the conversations, as coming out with their talons out and the blokes as saying ,” I respect him even more now that I know he’s got lots of testosterone  running around his veins” (WTF) Idon’t think that even in misogynist  England it will endear him to the people entrusted with inviting people to the royal wedding he would so like to be invited too.  Not that I give a fuck about the royals but what a pathetic little man he is for all his money and status.

In Europe we call people like him parvenus, nouveau rich, which translates as insignificant, lightweight, menial, nix, nothing, parvenu , small potato, squirt, upstart, wimp*, zero*, zip and what it means is that no matter how much money you have you’ll never make it to where you want to go because you just don’t have any class. That you see is the one thing you can’t buy. No matter how much money you spend on your fancy house, car, trofee wife or parties inviting lots of famous people, you can’t buy that.

Oh oops, did I just say that? I must be one of those women who wanted to be on his drool list.
