Maybe John Key knows something we don’t when he supports Mubarak

31/01/2011

John Key declared his support for Mubarak this morning on breakfast TV and while most sensible people would go:”WTF”?, John Key may be on to something.

The people of Egypt after 29 years of being ruled by one dictator and after almost 60 years under one party rule feel like it is perhaps time for a democratic election because the economic inequality is unacceptable and the corruption is strangling the country. If this sounds reasonable to you you might be interested in the following:

According to the Gini Coefficient used in the World CIA Report_2009 and it hs goe down hill since then New Zealand is on a par with countries such as Egypt, Morocco, India and Pakistan to name just few with regards to the economic equality or rather inequality of its citizenry.

What’s more countries such as the US land of the home and the free has an even more despicable inequality of income. In fact it is as bad as China and Venezuela (Venezuela luckily having a president who wants the population getting a better deal rather than the ruling elite.)

No wonder then that the US has banned its population from listening to alJazeera English. The American might just wake up and that would be the end of the likes of our Wall street banksters. So for John Key to support Mubarak is when you think about it not so strange because he may not have ruled for 29 years the country is going to shit and a populations screwed is a population angry and that is not a good thing for the likes of John Key.

Follow life al Jazeera in Egypt.

29/01/2011

I can’t embed the video but here is the link to the video page of al Jazeera so you can follow the developments from a more Arab point of view. Mubarak has just announced the sacking of his government which according to Al Jazeera means fuck all because all power is concentrated in Mubaraks hands anyway.

Here is a link with my second interview with Kevin Barrett. I have the entire first hour and Susan Landauer a CIA whistle blower takes the second.

The Global revolution has begun.

24/01/2011

Update: Egypt’s leaders export Gold bullion in an attempt to pre-empt possible popular uprising

I don’t like revolutions. They are messy, bloody and invariably the wrong people along with some of the right people get killed. I like my world peaceful and calm and if I’m not hungry and have roof over my head you can rest assured I will not revolt.

However what I need and that is really not a lot when you think about it, is what most people want out of life so if those very basic needs are not met or more horrible still actively denied you can rest assured people will revolt.

When Mohamed Bouazizi a Tunisian street vendor was once again hassled and had his merchandise for which he had to go into debt to be able to buy it was confiscated burned himself to death in a suicide driven by dispair thousands of people in similar situations took to the streets driving the much hated Dictator Ben Ali and his hairdresser wife out of the country and the population isn’t done yet.

Unrest in Jordan and Egypt amongst others followed and riots around the world against the rising food and oil prices (Pushed up primarily by unscrupulous speculators) are expanding and while New Zealand is still peaceful I expect that in the year to come we will see a rising unrest about the tax breaks for the rich and the rising unemployment and poverty for the rest.

We may not douse ourselves with fire and torch ourselves but angry we will get.

No I really don’t like revolutions but what I like doesn’t come into it. As Bertholt Brecht said: First comes food then comes moral.
That’s right, when you’re hungry you do whatever it takes to feed you and yours no matter what the rich tell you about how you shouldn’t steal.

Blair is a liar and a war criminal and very deserving of my Guillotine award

24/01/2011

If Blair ever gets his ass dragged in front of an international War crimes court I hope they take out the Guillotine and hand him his just deserts.

Here is what he had to say in front of the Chilcott Inquiry. Called back for “inconsistencies” in his previous appearance with trembling hands he still had the audacity to call for yet another illegal war of aggression against Iran.

90% of all Germans believe the official 911 story was bullshit, so how about waking up New Zealand?

24/01/2011

According to a survey conducted by TNS Emnid, one of the largest polling institutes in Germany, nearly 90 percent of Germans do not believe the U.S. government explanation of what happened on September 11, 2001.

You know the evil empire is up shit creek when…..

24/01/2011

You know that the US also known as the evil empire is up shit creek without a peddle when during a visit of Chairman Hu a pianist can play a famous Chinese Propaganda and anti American tune in the White house.

Added to that the Chairman also called for the US dollar to be ditched in favour of the Chinese currency.

Let’s face it; The US is a dead man walking and China is rearing to take over.

It doesn’t get much clearer than this: How to demolish two snow towers

01/01/2011

A simple physics experiment with two snow towers and how much energy it costs to destroy them. The result?

Watch for yourself and spread this around to those who seem to have problems with the basic understanding of the laws of Physics. Better still suggest that physics teachers make this a class project while the snow is out there. Its healthy and cool.
